Introduction And Opening Prayer - O our Father, our Shaikh, our Guru, we need Your love, please, please, please destroy us and reveal You Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim. We tried to mail you the following letter (Spiritual Letter 29) that this child recently wrote to Rumi Smith but your mailing system said that you were "full", could not receive any more mail, and that it would not keep trying to deliver it to you. Therefore, after asking Bawa what to do, we were told to send it to you again, this time using both the E-mail address that we got from the Fellowship Mailing List put together recently by Asma'el Muhaiyaddeen (Rick Hacket), which was, jbarnett.ma.ultranet@rcn.com, which is the one that said you were "full", and a second address that we picked off of the recent Boston Retreat Invitation that you sent to this child last month, which was, jbarnett@ma.ultranet.com. 2. Making The Transition From Outside To Inside - from living in the world with our brothers and sister, in the world that we see in our ignorance as existing "outside" of us, to living in our very own heart with our Shaikh, in the world that can only be seen with our wisdom, through the eyes of our Shaikh, which are the 99 wilayat or powers of God, the windows of the house of wisdom that is the heart of our Shaikh, the original house of the soul known as Adam (peace be upon Him), after Adam (peace be upon Him) has recovered from His fall from grace You and your family, and all of our brothers and sisters in Boston, are always in my prayers, and we look forward to the day that God puts us together again, there is so much that has happened in the life of this child that is worth sharing. We have always been heart buddies, from the very first time we met, and will always be so in the heart of our Shaikh, until we finally truly meet and give salams in akhirah, which is not too far off in the future. Always know this my dearest loving brother, never doubt this truth of our livers, but we all have a lot of work to do first, both in the world with our brothers and sisters, in the world that we in our ignorance currently see as existing "outside" of us, and even more importantly, within our very own hearts, joined as One with our Shaikh, with our Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him). May we both make this transition soon, from living in the world with our brothers and sisters, to living within our heart with our Shaikh. Only then will our duty be truly acceptable to God. This is the truth of our lives, my dearest loving brother Muhammad Hussain, that we must all come to realize, if we are ever to see God again. 3. Heart Request - give my love and salams to all of our brothers and sisters, and share these letters of the heart with them. Please do this important work Please give my love and salams to your wife, your son Rahim, and your daughter, and to all of the brothers and sisters in Boston. Please tell them that Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Louie Beutler) loves them very, very much. Also, please share this letter with them, as well as the enclosed letter to Rumi Smith, and the several recent letters that were sent by this child to Asma'el Muhaiyaddeen (Rick Hacket). Please do this very important work. We all need to hear these words of wisdom over and over again, as they come from each of the Children of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with each of Us), each with a little different perspective on the same thing, on the One Thing, until our hearts melt. For as Bawa teaches us, "The Human Being who gives salams will hear the voice of the One who is the Lord of Everything. Then He will see His heart open and hear the worship of the One who is Allah." (from the Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Calendar, 1998) 4. We Are All A Part of The Puzzle That Is God - and we will never solve this puzzle without all of the pieces. In this way, each one of our brothers and sisters contains a cure for something that is wrong with us, for something that is separating us from God, as we contain part of the cure for each one of our brothers and sisters, and knowing this we must treat everyone as a valuable treasure personally and lovingly sent to us by God, to save us from an eternal life of "separation from" God We must never discount any of our brothers and sisters, or what they have to share with us. If we do we are just doing the work of hell. We must always keep this in mind as each of our brothers and sisters comes to maturity within the life and teaching of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), and always keep them near to our heart, always keep them in our love and in our prays. This is what Bawa always did when He was before us in the world. We are all part of the puzzle that is God, and we will never solve this puzzle without all of the pieces. May we both always keep this important wisdom point in mind when dealing with our brothers and sisters, when dealing with everyone living in this age, this age known as Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him). Like this, Bawa teaches us that if we keep all of the different types of flowers in a garden separated, each in its own little garden, like rose with roses and tulips with tulips, they will get sick and will eventually die of their sickness, but if we grow them all together as One, as One Flower Garden, they will be much healthier, because the cure for a particular kind of disease in one type of flower is contained in another type of flower. Like this, each one of our brothers and sisters contains a cure for something that is wrong with us, for something that is separating us from God, as we contain part of the cure for each one of our brothers and sisters, so only by coming together as One, as the One Family of God for this age, accepting all of our brothers and sisters as they are, not as we would like them to be, as we have accepted our Shaikh as He is, not as we would like Him to be, and as we have accepted God as He is, not as we would like God to be, only then will we be cured of all of our diseases, only then will we see God.
